Error Code: 52 & P325 Knock Sensor Circuit Malfunction

Hi Mechs,

I am a DIY person and I need your kind assistance to fix the above problem that I am having with my Toyota Camry 1994 v6.

Problem:
1. My car doesn’t move according to the level of acceleration.
2. It is so sluggish when moving and it gets worse when going up or driving towards a hill.
3. It consumes fuels too much.
4. The entire body get hot after about 2 kilometers drive

I ran a scan on it and found the following codes:

Error Code: 52 – Knock Sensor Signal
Error Code: P0325 – Know Sensor Circuit Malfunction

How do I locate the KNOCK SENSOR on my Toyota Camry 1994 3.0 V6.?

What do I need to check to solve this problem?


I hope to read your kind response in order to replace the KNOCK SENSOR and solve the solution.

Both codes refer to the same thing. Knock sensor is mounted in top of center engine block, between the cylinder heads.

The item commonly fails, especially when you have overheating issues.
