1994 Oldsmobile Ciera Repair Question

A/c
I tried to charge the a/c on my 94 olds ciera and the freon would not go in. what might be wrong?

no the compressor was not running. how do you get it to run?

Is there any charge in system? if no then needs to vacuumed if yes find pressure switch rigt front engine comp. area in line from compressor to condensor pull plug jumper terminals. this will energize comp clutch
