How do I unplug the oil drain back holes? What do you recommend?

Use a screw driver to poke into the drain plug hole. Most likely there is too much sludge in the oil pan causing the drain plug hole to be clogged. If the engine is still running well, have the oil pan removed to clean the sludge. Remember to clean the oil strainer as well.
