Mazda Truck Engine Problem
I have a 1994 mazda pick up 2 wheel drive 5 speed 4 cylinder with 8 plugs and when I change gears the engine revs up real high what could be causing it

How high is high?
What is the idling speed?
Is the throttle cable adjusted correctly and does it return smoothly?
