My car has 214,000 miles on it. It is a 94' Mazda MX3 never had any major problems with it. I recently changed the cadallic convertor on the front and the gasket before I did my smog check this past year. It corrected my starting problems that were created by my gasket needing to be replaced. Recently it started having trouble again as when I arrive at a stop the RPMs sort of disengage and makes it hard to start up again. I get it going after a bit of patience and if I dont give it all the gas. I also am able to avoid this "behavior" if I gently ease into the break rather than push on the brake too quickly. My first thought was the fuel filter but after reading some of your suggestions Id like more advice. Thanks
