When lug nuts are tightened new brakes and rotor bind where wheel gets so hot it sizzles when water is applied to it. Brand new rotor and pads. Noticed the previous rotor was cut hard on the inside that is why I replaced it almost half of surface was gone. When all bolted up wheel will turn but very hard to turn. Appears that uppper arm has been replaced is it possible brake torque plate is bent causing the caliper to cut hard into the wheel surface?

Are you able to push the caliper piston all the way in? If so bolt up the wheel and see if the wheel spins free

I believe it is the caliper not returning because after running the car around the block it was so hot when I hit a water puddle it was steaming. There is caliper dust all over the wheel. It too is very hot to the touch but not a bearing problem because right before I purchased car engine trans and bearings (she handed me a stack of bills 6 inches tall) were all replaced. Caliper boot does not look good seems torn in spots but hoses too are cracked (dry rotted) on the outside. Guess I need to replace them too. Thanks for the cabin air filter now I need to know how to adjust sunroof in the rear it moves about 1/4" does not leak water but there is wind noise. Will turn in ticket for separate question.

When you activate to close position do you hear the sunroof motor engaging? There's no adjustment-could be binding due to debris-try lubricating it

Got something -lets retry

ADJUSTMENTS

WARNING: Since it is possible to operate sun roof for about 60 seconds after ignition is turned off, disconnect negative battery cable or wait at least 60 seconds before servicing sun roof. Failure to do so may result in serious personal injury.

CAUTION: When prying out garnishes (trim pieces) and other parts that are secured by clips, use a plastic tool or a flat-blade screwdriver with tape on the tip to prevent damage.
SUN ROOF HEIGHT

Fully close the sun roof. Measure sun roof height (distance between horizontal line of roof top and horizontal line of weatherstrip). See Fig 1. See SUN ROOF HEIGHT SPECIFICATIONS table. If height is not as specified, pry out garnishes (trim pieces) from left and right sides of sun roof opening.
Add or remove shims at slider mounts until height is as specified. See Fig 2. Before tightening nuts, ensure glass is square with opening and is aligned. See Figure and Figure.

SUN ROOF HEIGHT SPECIFICATIONS

GS300 Application Desired Height: In. (Mm) Tolerance: In. (Mm) Level +/.059 (+/-1.5)

SUN ROOF CLOSING CLEARANCE

Closing clearance is incorrect if glass is not square with the opening. See Fig 1. To adjust, pry out garnishes (trim pieces) from left and right sides of sun roof opening. Loosen slider mount nuts. See Figure. Reposition glass. Tighten nut
