Jeep Grand Cherokee Gas Problem

When I put gas in it wont flow in freely ,it splashes back no mater how slowly i pump it, in a short while it overflows,what could be the problem?

Have you tried a different gas pump? Could be an issue with evap system? The air in the tank has to go somewhere or burp back up the fill pipe.
