I believe my crankshaft position sensor is bad but I wanted a second opinion on it. These are my symptoms. Difficulty starting, occasional misfire, hesitation under acceleration, increased engine vibration. Is this something I could do myself or does it need to be done by a professional?

What led you to the crank sensor? Did you check applicable trouble codes? How long since a tune-up? If I suspect the crank sensor, I also check the cam sensor.

If the crank sensor is the problem, you should be able to replace it, yourself.
