I drove a half hour home from
Work. Wanted to go out, started car, sounded rough like it may stall. Drove 2-3 blocks oil pressure starts dropping. Then check engine light flashes. Drove maybe 2 min and car stalled and stopped. Oil pooling under car now, Dipstick dry. What could have happened?

Driving that 2 minutes after the oil pressure dropped likely destroyed the engine bearings and crankshaft. About the only thing that can let the oil run out that fast is a loose oil filter or it was double-gasketted from the old one sticking to the engine the last time it was changed. Some engines use a remote oil cooler. There could be a ruptured hose that would also let the oil run out very quickly.

Oil pressure is critical. Always stop the engine as soon as the pressure drops or the warning light turns on.
