I recently had a motor put in & the mechanic had an issue with starting the car without my security unlock remote (which they lost) not sure how they got it started. But since i've had the car back the tranny doesn't shift! runs great but just doesn't shift the transmission light is illuminated in the car & for what its worth where i shift from park to neutral to drive it used to have a little resistance but know goes through the gears too easy it seems. what could be the reason for the car not shifting?
