I have a 1994 Isuzu Trooper. My Flasher relay keeps getting hot and blowing the fuse. Once fuse is blown, transmission won't shift in to 4th gear.

I have replaced the fuse, and the flasher relay a couple of times. Works properly for only one or two trips down the road, then relay heats up and blows the fuse.

Any idea where to start here?
