My 1994 Trooper keeps blowing the turn signal/backup light fuse. Sometimes the break is immediate and sometimes the signals will work for days without incident. The wiring doesn't have a break as far as I can see and the bulb sockets appear to be in good shape. Do I need to suspect the turn signal switch or am I overlooking another possibility?

Does a 94 trooper 3.2l auto 4-wheel drive starter require a shim? We just replaced a starter and flywheel for this vehicle and the customer is saying when starting it sounds like it is doing the same thing. The flywheel we removed show all the teeth are worn down to the point the starter wouldn't engage the flywheel. Is this common with this vehicle? Shims or what?
