Hi my car is starting to over heat and the fans don't kick in until you unplug it. We replaced the coolant sensor and still have problems. We would prefer trying to fix it ourselves before sending it to an auto electrician. Thank you

If the fan comes on when the CTS is unplugged, that means the circuit is working and the computer has control. Running hotter in traffic or idle situations is normal. The fans generally aren't programmed to come on until 225 degrees or higher.

If the AC is on, the fan would be running anyway. Make sure the coolant level is full and you have no air pockets in the system. The car is not sold in the US so I can't look at the wiring diagram.
