HIGH IDLE WHERE CAN I FIND SCREW
1994 Geo Tracker • 161,000 miles
I have a geo tracker 94 and it is idle high i found the problem its missing the idle speed adjusting screw (bypass air adjusting screw) but i cant find one any where they are also called a hot idle air bleed screw not sure can anyone help?
First you'll have to know if yo have tbi or mfi on the vehicle. you could go to a salvage yard and pick one up if they have one or you could try a tbi unit from like a cavalier if it's tbi as i think they are the same as GM sold both of those.
It is a tbi but i not sure what to call it when i go to the auto parts
It's a tbi unit. then go to a junk yard and see if either a cavalier that has a tbi unit has tht or another tracker. i'm sure they will let you go back and find one.
So i will need the whole unit and not just the screw?
No if you go to the junkyard get just the screw if they have a unit that is scrap anyhow they will more than likely give it to you.
