Ford Taurus Engine Problem
It appears there is a sludge like substance under rad cap what could the problem be ? Engine is a 3.8 L from a 1994 Ford Taurus

someone added sealer to the system which is a bad move.
have the system flushed out and have it pressure tested to see what they were trying to fix.
