I have a friend with an old 1992 Ford Ranger 2.9 liter. 4 wheel drive, manual transmission. I have a 1994 Ford Ranger 4.0 liter, 2 wheel drive, automatic transmission. My power steering went out and I need to replace the pump. Instead of buying a new pump and having to get a pulley puller I was hoping the two vehicles would have the same pump and also the same mount. What are the chances of this? Would the pulleys be the same?
