What can cause fuel not to enter fuel rails?

I have a 94 ford mustang gt 5.0 changed fuel pump filter wires rotter cap distributer cap checked pressure regulator. I'm gettin fuel to regulator but no fuel to fuel rail please help

Check the fuel pressure with a gauge and then comeback with the readings

When I took regulator off it had lots of pressure behind it but stopped there. Could fuel rail be clogged?

What do you mean by this: no reading doesn't move-hook up a fuel pressure gauge to the fuel rail test port and turn key on-what's the reading

Check the fuel pump seems to me its dead or its not turning on-

Spray some carbuerator cleaner in the throttle body and see if it'll start up-if so injectors are not pulsing-

Yes it starts with starter fluid u can hear injectors cycling

When you installed the pump, did you make sure you installed the hoses correctly>>

pressure on the wrong side of the regulator would be caused by this.

Does not make sense with no pressure at the port but at the regulator.
