FORD F-150 FUEL PUMP PROBLEM

1994 Ford F-150 • 278 miles

Fuel pump not running when I turn on the key? Smell in the cab
The truck is a XL has dual tanks, 4.9 engine and 2wd.
The truck was running one morning while warming up and it just cut off. When I got in the truck It has a "burnt" smell in the truck? Which leads me to believe that a wire must have burnt that gets power to the fuel pump. I have checked the inertia switch, both the green and red wires running to the fuel tank switch on the dash and the fuel pump relay box, relay and fuse. All checked out ok, Any further suggestions?
