Installed water pump-put together by the book-roars

Vibrates some, little power- idle too fast except when putting on brake. Put on water pump[, put belts and line up just right by th book, new belts. Idled really fast on startup settled down some after 5 mins. Would idle normal every time I put on brake, doesn't seem to have much go power, drove one block and then parked it.

You've done something wrong or left something disconnected. Check it over good, especially any vacuum lines.

Also make sure your intake snorkel has no leaks.
