Cooling system

When changing the radiator for a used one, the oil from the transmission lines connected to the radiator spilled oil into the water system inside the plastic housing, would this affect the engine, if it does how do i clean it or flush it? when turning on the car to move it around the transmission dont respond when u put on "D" or "R".was this because of the oil that lost pressure or something?..

if it was just a splash do not worry about it, if over say 100ml do a coolant flush and check that the transmission oil level is correct as it may be to low on fluid to drive.
