I tried starting my car this afternoon after not starting it since yesterday morning. It wouldnt start. I continued to try and it wouldnt crank over, it would only make the cranking noise as if it was going to. I depressed the accelerator all the way down and cranked and nothing. I did this for about a half hour taking 15 to 20 sec breaks in between, and still nothing. On the last try I did the same as I stated above, and it was trying to crank over so I pressed in and out on the pedal and it started and soon enough shut off on me. I had less than a half of tank of gas and I added some gas antifreeze and tried again and still nothing, just the noise. I then noticed an intense gas smell along with a burn smell, I opened the hood and noticed the spark plug wires had popped up along with a gas smell to it, and a white substance all around the one wire and spark plug. Could this be the end of my car? HELP PLEASE!

Okay, now what about the spark plug wires that popped off along with the white ash like substance all over the wire and spark plug? The burning smell and gas smell, did I do something trying to crank the car?
