I have a 1994 dodge Dakota slt, with a 318, 4 wheel drive, and a manual transmission. I was driving and it cut off, tried to start it back up &it would turn over, but not starting. I went into the fuse box under the hood switching relays and fuses around, but got nothing until I came to the auto shutdown fuse. Pulled it and checked it out and it seemed fine so I put it back in. When I did I heard clicking (I had the key still in the on position) so I reached in and turned the key and it fired up, but only got a short distance down the road, went straight to the auto shutdown fuse again, pulled it& put it back in. That worked again did that several times til I got it to a safe place. Since it's been in the shop the crankshaft position sensor, pick up coil, distributor cap, rotor button, and the computer has been replaced, but still doing the same thing. Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks

Yes I changed the asd relay before discovering that pulling the fuse and putting it back in. And I don't know about the fuel pressure because the mechanic was positive the computer was bad, but unfortunately he was wrong because it's still cutting I'll have to get him to check on the fuel pressure.
