Chevrolet Suburban Thermostat Problem

I have 94 chevy suburban 2500 6.5 turbo diesel i change the thermostat on it but were the thermostat is located there is a bronze t valve one house goes downward and the other goes to the left the one to the left yanked of and now i dnt know were it connects again it jus pulled off like nothing and know my truck isnt rising the diesel to start could this be the problem or wat if anybody can help and tell me were the end of that house goes connected at

the thermostat is at the end of the upper hose.

yea thats were its located at but it has a t- valve there too and it connects 2 hoses ones goes down and the other connects on the side but the one that connects on the side came out frm the end of it and know i dont know were to connect it back
