ac air problems

1994 euro. my ac works fine under 1800 rpms. when i accelarate air comes out at the floor. when i let off gas it comes out of vents. could it be the vacuum cannister? if so where is it located?

definately sounds like a vacuum leak. probably a split/loose hose in the HVAC system. the vacuum reservoir is usually a black plastic ball shaped unit under hood somewhere try under battery or around fenders.

also try looking under left headlight.

i use brake cleaner to find the leak.spary the hose sys.when the idle changes when your spraying.thats where its sucking air.gl
