I also mean timing as in advance? And what about cam condition? Highly worn? Was it running fine before all the work was done?

Timing in advance I'm familiar with that on regular distributors but not opti. Car was not running before all the work was done. Pulled it out to wash one day running great next thing I know it wouldn't start, so I replaced opti and timing chain and check timing. Changed plugs and wires, map and mat. Thanks pete

Shoulda came here first before the BIG work you did. So many waste time and money and dont fix it or make it worse. Then seek help. I generally wont touch a car that someone has messed with indiscriminately as it just complicates things.
