1994 Chevrolet Blazer Repair Question

Grinding nose

I have a94 blazer the front axle left side bearing and bushing is bad
can i change them by taking the left cv axle and case off only

hub bearing, yes. remove the calpier. rotor, loosen and remove axle nut and release the 3 attaching bolts

the cv axle has a egg shape rotation coming out of the differantil case

thats the inner cv joint. what is the issue??

i was told at retable tranismison shop it could b a bearing and or bushing inside the case the problem is i don't want to get it torn apart, and not be able to put it back together.
