1993 Toyota Pickup Repair Question

Wizing turbo sound? what could it be.
I have been told that it could be gears in my trans(manual). It makes noise while in idle and it gets louder while on gear and speed.

Sounds like a bearing noise, start with checking all the external engine pulley bearings first, with out actually hearing the noise it is a bit hard to determine the location, a mechanic listening to this first hand may be able to narrow down the problem as well.
