Saturn SL2 Alternator Problem

Hi. My 93 Saturn sl2 is giving me fits. I have recently replaced the battery, starter and alternator. I used an inexpensive alternator which went belly up after 3 months, replaced that one with same model (lifetime warranty) and had this one crap out after 2 weeks. Upgraded the alternator to top of the line and am hoping this solves the problem. My belt was also recently replaced and is at proper tension.
any ideas as to why alternators crap out?

The only thing that comes to mind is bad alternators those early saturns even the factory ones wernt lasting long until about 1995 then the quality improved a great deal.
