Pontiac Sunbird Throttle cable Problem
I have a 1993 Pontiac Sunbird 2.0L. Can the ECM have something to do with my transmission not shifting correctly?

not likely. there is a throttle cable and a governor that need to be checked first before condemning the internals of the trans.
