My Jeep shut off one day like it ran out of gas. Got it to crank but it wouldn't idle. Had to hold gas to run up rmps to 2000 & it smoothed out till I let up off gas. Checked codes with check engine light. It said cam signal not detected. Replaced crank sensor it fired right up & run good till I shut it off. Now will not crank. It trys if I hold gas pedal to floor. Getting gas & fire but still wont crank. I've tried everything I've read about it, still wont crank. Any other ideas?

You mean it won't run not crank. Chec your fuel pressure with agauge autoparts rent it. If it wont' crank(turn over) check battery for condition including load test

Pressure is ok scan for code and might be a bad crank sensor. Also tehse have aproblem of wires getting corroded under battery check there as well.
