1993 Isuzu Truck Repair Question

93 isuzu p/u 2.3 l 2 barrel carb. My question is as soon as i start my truck the engine is like someone is pressing the pedal to the floor and i try to kick with the gas to get it to idle down but it is not working can you help? i have put carb cleaner an

the linkage seems to be ok could a secondary valve be open or sticking? i mean with when i was driving down the highway on the interstate my carb or(usually i could let off the gas but something was not right and i try to get the idle to kick down but couldnt. had to get it tow home. please expalin in full what you are talking about on this linkage or the carb please sir

If the throttle plate is closing completely,linkage and accelerator cable are okay-could be the carb is leaking internally-also look for a vacuum leak
