1993 Ford Mustang convertable top

I'm just wanting to know how to check the fluid level, and how to add fluid to the hydraulic's that raise and lower the convertable top. Thank you.

If I recall, the pump is behind the rear seat back. Remove the seat and locate the pump. You will need to slightly lift the pump from the rubber grommet that holds it. At the end of the pump is a fill plug. Remove the plug to fill it. NOTE: I believe this uses Dexron trans fluid and NOT hydraulic fluid.

If the pump is full and working, remove the trim panels in the rear to locate the actual hydraulic cylinders and make sure there are no leaks or problems there.
