I have a 1993 Ford Festiva with an automatic transmission. And I would love to swap it with a 5 speed manual. Can this be done as simply as swapping all the associated hardware and components from a donor car? Or are there brackets and/or mounting points that are welded to the body of the 5 speed car that would have to be in place on my car to make the swap possible?
