1993 Ford Explorer Replaced Seal On Pitman Lower Unit Just Spacer Lock Ring Same

Replaced the seal on the pitman lower unit just the seal spacer and lock ring but same prob poors out fluid...now is there a certain way top seal goes in ...open end on bottom or top...
