My car shakes when speeds exceed 60mph. Just yesterday my tire popped after it started shaking. Actually it still had the air in the tire and the tread pretty much got pealed back. I was wondering if this could be because of a bad alignment or something more. I'm not too familiar with the suspension, but I believe it has something to do with the ball joints? Also while slowly coasting my car would bounce up and down right where the wheel is.

Yes the tires will cause the problem you are describing, a ball joint being the cause is unlikely.
