I drove about 85% Percent of the Way to Work and got to a Stop Sign, Did the usual put it into neutral and stopped. When I went to put it into First gear it did budge and I was pushing it to the point where it felt like I would break it. Tried it in the other gears and it still wouldn't go in. So I went to reverse and it made a loud nasty sound. Pushed it to the side. Turned off car tried again and nothing and now it just sits at my friends house because I can't move it.

See if it will shift into gear with the engine off if it does then it's a clutch problem

Sounds more like a clutch problem if you can shift it into gear with engine off. Like I said in last reply
