Engine cuts out when hitting a bump on the highway.

The service engine and battery light comes on for a second but not all the time. The speedodmeter needle will spike in the negative direction this happens even when the lights( battery ,service ) don't come on. Only happens when hitting a bump large or small. All the needles on the dash spike on start up but only then. I usually have to turn the key a few times to get the starter to engage also.
