i'm trying to locate the pollon filter any idea where it will b located?

You have both a A/C filter and heater filter.

Micro-filter For Integrated Heater/Air-Conditioning System

Installed in AC housing at passenger side footwell.

You have to remove the following:

Glove box, footwell duct and center cosole trim.

Heater filter is located:

There are two filters inside a housing that mounts to the front side of the engine compartment bulkhead. (At the base of the windshield by wiper blades). There's a black plastic screen that needs to be removed.

The under hood filters were an addition to the E39 body style, the E34 did not use the underhood filters. The microfilter is in the passenger footwell and access is as E. Clark has stated.
