Overheating bmw316i
Hi got a bmw316i keeps overheating, thermostat open and closes, rad been flushed an all ok there no oil in it ,blows cold air most of the time but on a longer journey blows hot for a few minutes and then cold again, can u help?

You might try replacement of the thermostat first. If no joy it could be plugged steam holes in the head gasket.
