Can i use 2 fuel pumps on my swift 1.0 L

some ppl put an external fuel pump under the hood when the original one that located inside the tank is out of service

so , can i use this external pump + my original pump

i am not looking for a better performance ,
but all i am looking for is when one of these 2 pumps is going out i can easly go with the second one till i get to the nearest Maintenance center
