1992 Pontiac Firebird car wont start

Hello, I have a 92 Firebird 5 speed, this morning I got in started it up sat in idle for a little bit while I buckled up and got the radio set up, put it in reverse went to back up and it shut off. I then proceeded to start it back up but nothing. Brand spanking new battery oil level was fine checked it a week before it didn't feel like the clutch was sticking. What could be up with it?

If the engine will turn over while trying to start then I would check fuel pressure to see if the pump went bad.

The engine does not turn over at all. It did 5 mins before but after it shut off(ALMOST like it stalled out) it didn't turn anymore

Do you dash lights and stuff come on when you turn the key on?

Yes and at one point the service engine light came on but then went off after I walked away for a bit
