1992 Mitsubishi Mighty Max Repair Question

Starter Circuit
1992 Mitsubishi 4 cyl pickup w/5speed manual. Turned Key to start. The soleniod operated, starter engaged flywheel for about one revolution - Lost power. Subsequent turns of the key net only a click from under the dash.
There are three fuses at the positive pole of the battery. I can't get any of them to budge. They are like 60 and 80 amps. How do I remove them? Is there somewhere else I should be looking for the problem?
