1992 Mercury Capri alternator replacement
1992 Mercury Capri 1.6 liter mileage: 87,000. I was attempting to replace the alternator since it stopped working. I unbolted it, but I can't figure out how to get it out of the engine compartment? Any help is appreciated.

The alternator comes out the bottom of the engine compartment. You will have to remove one of the drive axles to get it all the way out.
