1992 Mazda 929 Repair Question

My car starts and runs at idle for a minute and then dies.
When I start my car,it will idle for a short time,rev up and down for awhile the stop running.Now each time I start it,it starts and then dies,starts and then dies each time.I will stay running if I control the throttle.If I don't it will just die again.
