You have to make sure the power steering racks have the same ratio and measurements. The easiest way is to get the base model of your year Civic and see if it has manual steering. Then it will be a simple change. If you go to a honda enthusiast forum like www. Honda-tech. Com, you can do a search and find out what steering racks can be interchanged with yours and what modifications you may have to make to install it. Also, you can look up your steering rack at an online used car parts retailer and see what other applications the same rack works for. Then you can see if the cars listed have manual steering in their base models and those racks should fit. You should always check with an enthusiast forum for something custom like this before doing it as the Honda forums are so large that the modification has almost certainly been done and you will find information on it.
