Honda Accord 1992 car was hesitating and backfiring at low speeds, changed spark plugs, wires, cap & rotor button set timing and fuel filter. It seems to only happen some times and when I am driving at low speeds and in traffic, once I get on the highway I don't nottice it anymore. I am going nuts trying to figure this out PLEASE HELP

Could be one of the following below -check and test:

Oxygen sensors.
Catalytic converter.
Fuel injectors dirty/sticking.
Mass airflow sensor/Airflow meter.
Throttle position sensor.
Manifold absolute pressure sensor.
EGR Valve
Fuel pressure regulator leaking or defective fuel pump.
Fuel contamination.
Foul/defective spark plugs.
Open spark plug wires.
Ignition coil/Coil packs defective.
Incorrect ignition timing.
Cap and rotor.

Note:If it doesn't apply disregard.
