1992 GMC Sonoma SLE Parking Brake Handle

Recently my parking brake release handle pulled completely out of the dash board (with a short length of metal cable still attached). I have located the replacement part, but need some directions on how to install it! It is a pain forgetting not to set the brake and then having to reach under the dash to release it!

Your front cable snapped, the handle will probably go back in by turning it to the release position and inserting it. Remove the old cable first! Then install new cables and adjust.
