I have a 1992 Ford Taurus, when I crank it in the a.m. it cranks then sputters out if I don't hold the gas for a couple minutes. The check engine light comes on and stays on after driving for about 20 minutes. I'm female so I looked online and think its the throttle position sensor. Lost my job about a month ago and things are tight, so I don't have the money to buy parts hoping it fixes the problem. Please tell me what could cause this so that I can have it fixed asap.
