Can I put an automatic transmission & transfer case from a 1987 ford bronco (5.0) into a 1992 ford f150 pickup (automatic, 4x4, 5.0 also) ?Thank you.
I have a 1992 ford f150 XL 4x4 pickup 5.0 automatic w/overdrive. The transmission is bad. Can I put an automatic transmission and transfer case from a 1987 full size bronco ( 5.0, automatic trans also) in the f150?

ford uses two transfer cases the large new process and the small dana either one of them fill work on the same trans.so worse case senario you would need to use your transfer case. and be positive it is a 92 and not a 93
