1992 Ford F-150 Repair Question

Does my tps need adjusting

Just replaced my tps,and now the truck wont start (unless using ether)then it idles high.does the sensor need adjusting (if so how do i do it)or do i have another problem.the truck ran before,but died when at a stop.
it is a 92 f150 5.0

The TPS is not adjustable. Ensure it is correctly seated, the pivot part where it seats onto the throttle body.

I believe you have a different probelm. stalling at stops indicates poor idle control and cleaning the throttle body and IAC cures most of such problems.
